Greg'O indoctrination into
the fine art of cooking
began at a very early age
.Chef Greg'Os parents , both
great cooks in their own
right , taught him the
history and preparation of
traditional Southern cooking
via Misouri and the
Mississippi Delta. Chef
Greg'O enlisted in the U.S.
Armed Forces (Marine Corps &
Army) .During his tour of
duty he served in the
Quartermaster Corps
(Foodservice). In this
capacity he prepared food ,
trained and lead Soldiers
under his command and for
that he was meritoriously
promoted to Sargeant First
Class . He was awarded the
Army ‘s Accommendaton Medal
, Army Achievment Medal and
numerous Citations and
awards for professionalism
in Foodservice. He went on
to retire with and
illustrious career spanning
over 23 years . He is also
and Alumni of one of the
finest and oldest culinary
institutions in the country
Washburne Culinary Institute
of Chicago. It was at
Washburne where he received
his formal education in
Culinary Arts and Science.
As sole proprietor of
Greg'Os Entertainment
Management , his areas of
expertise were event
planning, food service
consultant for institutional
and non-commercial venues ,
catering and lectures .He
served as a Private Chef for
three years at Northwestern
University where worked
closely with the Evanston
Department Of Public Health.
Finally , after developing
and directing food service
for one of the largest
religious organizations in
the City of Chicago for
nearly ten years , he
decided to pursue his
lifelong dream and focus on
the Personal Chef Business .
The preparation of food is
his love and passion from
conception to completion .
